Product Description:
3M™ Tape Primer 94 can be used to promote adhesion of 3M tapes to surfaces such polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal and painted metal surfaces.
Use 3M™ Tape Primer 94 to bond 3M tapes to a wide range of substrates. Our tape primer is a durable adhesion promoter that supports adhesion of VHB Tapes to painted metal surfaces. Bonding surfaces must be almost clean and dry before the tape primer is used. Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 mix of isopropyl alcohol and water mixture, and a clean lint free cloth should be used for wiping the surface.
3M Primer 94 is ideal for body trim items that have 3M VHB or other double sided tapes. The primer helps to ensure the bond is long lasting and secure.

- Tailgate Caps and Bed Rail Caps
- Light Surrounds
- and many more items.
Comes in a bottle which is enough to do all of the above. The cap has an integrated brush.
Additional Fitment Information:
The bonding surface must be relatively clean and dry. Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned with a 50/50 Isopropyl Alcohol and water mixture. A clean lint-free cloth should be used.
